Well hero status continues – you really did us proud for our trip, your attention to detail and knowledge about what would create great experiences was exceptional.
Clingendael was extraordinary, our room had a big comfortable sitting room, the garden where we breakfasted was pretty and the staff were so friendly and thoughtful.
Mackwood tea factory provided really interesting and new info and we were fascinated by the botanical garden tour, loved sitting in the café there too.
Galle Face worked well as a location for us to have a last dip in the salt water pool and the Ministry of Crab a very amusing menu and ambience.
So great job, Nick and your team.
You showed us the best bits, and we have come away with a huge interest in Sri Lanka, its past and its future and a great affection for the country.
I feel hugely privileged to have been to visit this (for me) new country.
You gave us an insight that we could not have managed alone.
My highlights: The Amangalla, The ambience of the hill country,
The cookery session in the paddi field, The warm people, The food, The bike ride, The swimming.
