Sabbatical in Brazil, Summer 2025

We used Nick and his team at laterallife to plan a once‑in‑a‑lifetime family sabbatical to Brazil, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. By the time we heard about it, everything had already been upgraded and smoothed out, and it was clear we were receiving platinum‑level treatment thanks to those local connections. Throughout the trip, the laterallife team were always available, responsive and unfailingly positive, no matter how small or unusual the query. They genuinely seemed to enjoy solving problems, whether it was a question about restaurant options for fussy teenage tastes or checking if a violin case would be accepted as hand luggage on a domestic flight across the Pantanal. Or tracking down a fisherman’s wife with no phone and only a first name to go by, so we could be ferried to her island home for dinner…. This was not just a luxury holiday; it was a carefully curated, deeply personal experience that we could never have organised ourselves. I would not hesitate to recommend Nick to anyone considering a special family trip.
