We were travelling to Canada to attend a nephew’s wedding on Vancouver Island and wanted to add in a two week trip across the Rockies prior to the wedding, so over to Jessica at Laterallife. Having someone organising your trip who has spent lots of time in Canada, and even worked on the Rocky Mountaineer, is just fantastic.
From start to finish, we have been enormously impressed by your expertise and dedication to ensuring we have the best time away for my 2018 sabbatical. You patiently worked with us as we changed ideas, tacks and destinations with an insight as to what we “really” wanted to achieve (even though we didn’t know what that was ourselves)! You did this in a seamless way we don’t think any other travel company would be able to.
Just a short note to say thank you so much and we had a great time. The real hero of this trip was you and the Lateral Life team. Your guidance and recommendations were simply fantastic; I lost count of how many times Jo and I said ‘how did they know about this’ or ’they’ve really thought about this bit… this really works’.
laterallife were invaluable in the planning and delivery of my sabbatical to North America. They provide a very personal and personable, hands-on service, spending time to get to know their customers and their interests before designing an appropriate trip on a collaborative basis.
Lateral Life organised a two month sabbatical in the summer of 2013 for my wife, my children (aged 13, 11, 9 and 5) and me. We travelled to Indonesia, Australia, Ecuador and the US.
Lateralife is one of the best kept secrets in the City. laterallife met us and listened to the needs of everyone in the family and only then painstakingly tailor-made my sabbatical so that it worked for everyone.
Nick Matthews has mentioned to me that you are considering using Lateral Life for your planned sabbatical and that you’d be interested to hear from some people who have worked with Nick and his team before on their sabbatical.
Nick at laterallife organised the trip of a lifetime for our family. No detail was too small and no trouble too much in his planning and execution of our journey.
