Kenya – Emakoko, Nairobi and safari in the Masai Mara at Little Naibor – and Zanzibar (Tanzania) – Stone Town and White Sands Villa on the beach

Some news bulletins from the Wickens family trip… Arrived at Emakoko which is just perfect. A beautiful setting and much needed haven. Everyone very excited as we saw rhino, giraffe and tons of ostriches en route from the airport. Off out shortly for more game viewing. Thank you for yet another Laterallife triumph!

Kenyan Safari

The location of Kicheche camp outside the Masai Mara was great as the conservancy was not busy (with people) but still had lots to see nearby and we were able to get to the Wildebeest crossing in the main reserve. I would advise anyone to stay in a conservancy rather than in the main reserve if possible.

Ibo Lodge, Ibo Island, Dhow Safari and Azura Quilalea, North Mozambique

We had the most wonderful time at Ibo Lodge and on the Dhow safari and I really didn’t think it could get any better! However, when we arrived at Quilalea I didn’t quite know what to say – it was utterly beautiful and the most wonderful place we had ever been. To make things even better we were given an upgrade which I am sure was down to you. Wow! I was in absolute heaven! Thank you so much Laterallife!

A Global Adventure combining Australia’s northern wilderness and the Gibb River Road, the white sand beaches and lush jungle of Indonesia’s islands and some of Africa’s best bits from Victoria Falls along the Zambezi, to Mozambiques untouched Quirimbas Archipelago and finally into the safari mecca that is Kenya’s Masai Mara

Nick and Laura, just a belated note to thank you and your teams for the most incredible adventure our family enjoyed this summer. From Day 1, when we met last autumn, you blended inspirational ideas, practical tips and clear actions so that we had a truly unique and unforgettable series of experiences that will last each of us forever.

Sri Lanka – Culture, Tea, Hiking & Coast

Well, that was another spectacular trip. Lush green paddy fields, afternoon tea overlooking the surfers catching waves, hikes through tea plantations, waterfalls and up giant craggy rocks, heavenly curries, endless egg hoppers and THAT moon pool at Weligama. Can’t wait to tell you all about it.

Honeymoon to Marvellous Mozambique

We have just gotten settled back in New York after a tremendous trip to Mozambique. Suffice to say, every single detail was beautifully attended from shower taps all the way to private charters, often, it seemed, while we watched much fancier, tanner, better coiffed, Patek-Phillipe-clad-Euro-types gawk at our villas, seamless logistics and private candle-lit meals.

Family Holiday to Malawi & Mozambique

When it came to planning a special holiday in honour of my 40th birthday we went straight to Nick and his team for help. Nick helped us plan our amazing year-long sabbatical in 2011 so I trusted him to come up with another memorable and off-the-beaten track trip.

Family Sabbatical to Botswana & Mozambique

Rather belatedly, thanks for arranging a truly fabulous trip. Everything was perfect and it really was the holiday/sabbatical of a lifetime – as you predicted. We had so many adventures and have so many stories – we must bore you with them sometime! All the best and thanks again,
